New York has five-star appeal

A series of thoughtful touches which add five-star comfort and functionality to family life has helped turn the New York-inspired Waldorf display in Harrisdale into one of its builder’s most popular.

waldorfkitchen_thumb“This home captures the essence of the brand,” National Homes brand manager Tony Harvie said. “The layout is functional and spacious, with luxurious touches that create a stunning example of the lifestyle offered by National Homes.”

High-quality fixtures and features are present in every part of the house, including the home’s stand-out area — a high-spec kitchen.

This space includes a generous stretch of stone-topped bench, overhead and under-bench storage, 900mm appliances and an island bench/ breakfast bar with feature upstand, stone splashbacks, pot drawers, a three-door pantry, a microwave nook and built-in appliance cupboard.

A window from the kitchen through to the web zone in the minor bedroom wing allows parents to supervise children, and the laundry is conveniently tucked behind the kitchen.

“Parents appreciate these thoughtful touches, because it shows the care and attention to detail that goes into the design of our homes,” Mr Harvie said.

The home is zoned separately to create distinct spaces for children and parents.

“The minor-bedroom zone, with the web zone, a bathroom, powder room, and three double-sized bedrooms, sits on one side of the wide entrance hall, with a sunken theatre room on the other side.

The opulent parents’ retreat is located at the back of the house and enjoys private access to the backyard.

“The size of the room is breathtaking and the luxurious feel is extended through to the ensuite, featuring an oversized shower, double basins, and bathtub creating a feeling reminiscent of a five-star hotel,” Mr Harvie said.

“We have received positive feedback for incorporating sliding doors from the master suite.”

The Waldorf is priced at $296,329 as displayed but can be built from $221,699.
