Perth Fashion Week

Perth Fashion Week (PFW) is an International fashion event that was staged in Perth in April 2012. The event was jammed packed shows from Australian and international designers and had a strong Indigenous influence throughout the whole week.
Perth Fashion Week’s official campaign was shot in the Kimberley region of WA, in early March 2012. BGC Contracting, through its Indigenous Relations team and the Broome Depot, organised transport for the entire PFW cast and crew, for their Kimberley expedition. The rugged landscape of the Kimberley embodied the heart and soul of Australia; through the land and its Indigenous people.
The PFW crew photographed the lovely Indigenous models wearing fashionable creations by Indigenous designers, and filmed a commercial and a “behind the scenes” clip. The PFW crew was supplied with BGC Contracting branded items, such as caps and water bottles, for use during the filming.
PFW showcased Indigenous designers and was the first time that Indigenous designers were showcasing their creations at a fashion week in Australia.
BGC was proud to be part of Perth Fashion Week and its unique 2012 campaign showcasing some of Australias best designers and incredible landscapes in Western Australia.
